1. Chapter Purpose¶
BPHS introduces three additional Ascendants — Bhava, Hora, and Ghati Lagna — computed from the same birth moment but recalculated at finer time-intervals than the once-per-birth natal Lagna. The chapter argues (mainly through translator commentary) that using these alongside the natal Lagna sharpens prediction.
