Module Chart Clinic: Module 7 — Judgement of Houses

1. Learning Purpose

Module 7 is a single lesson on house significations and the prosperity/affliction rule — deliberately light-touch, since full house-by-house effects are Semester 2's dedicated subject (Ch. 14–25). This capstone extends L1's own Chart Clinic, connecting today's house-judgment vocabulary back to Module 5's house classification (Kendra/Trikona/Trik-sthana/Upachaya) so the two modules' house-related content is tested together once, rather than staying siloed.

3. Guided Analysis Sequence

  1. Pick one house in your own chart with a life-history association clear enough to test — your 10th (career) or 7th (relationships) are often good candidates.
  2. State its classification from Module 5 (Kendra/Panaphara/Apoklima; Trikona/Trik-sthana/Upachaya where applicable).
  3. Apply Ch. 13's prosperity/affliction rule to that house — is it prosperous or afflicted per BPHS's stated test, and by which factor (occupants, aspects, lord's condition)?
  4. Test against known outcome. Does the house's prosperous/afflicted status match what you already know about that life area?

  • Cite the exact verse for the prosperity/affliction rule you applied.
  • Does the house's structural classification (from Module 5) predict its actual prosperous/afflicted status (from today), or are these genuinely independent factors that happen to combine in your chart?
